Everybody loves ceviche, but Peruvian fishermen are struggling
Peru’s gastronomy is critically acclaimed as one of the best in the world and is especially known for its seafood dishes such as ceviche. Even though Peru has a very diverse marine life and ecosystem, it’s not being protected. Marine conservation affects the environment, the fishermen whose livelihoods depend on the ocean, and society at large.
